The subject of trading at the POWER EXCHANGE CENTRAL EUROPE (PXE)
is electricity with an hourly output of 1 MW for each hour of each day of the
agreed delivery period. The delivery locations are the electricity systems in
the Czech Republic (CZ), Slovakia (SK) and Hungary (HU); the transport of
electricity is not included in the contract price.
Commodity futures with physical settlement
- Commitment of delivery/payment of a certain number of MWh during the
entire delivery period

Commodity futures with financial settlement
- Commitment of financial compensation for the price difference in the
subject of trading during the entire delivery period

Spot Contracts
- Commitment of delivery/payment of a certain number of MWh for a specific
delivery day
- Daily and hourly
- CZ, HU
Depending on the type of delivery, the following products are differentiated:
Base Load
- Each hour of each day of the delivery period
Peak Load
- Monday through Friday, from 8am to 8pm (including weekends and public
holidays) during the delivery period
