1. Commodities Exchanges Act  
Act No. 229/1992 Coll., on Commodities Exchanges, governs in particular the establishment of an exchange and its incorporation as a special legal entity, defines an exchange’s governing bodies and the internal relations within a commodity exchange, establishes which persons or entities are entitled to trade on an exchange on the basis of membership or tickets for entry, regulates the requirements of exchange trades, and establishes the rights and obligations of exchange brokers. Last but not least, the Act provides for the particulars of state supervision and possible sanctions as well as those for terminating and dissolving an exchange. Zakon_o_komoditnich_burzach.pdf

2. PXE Statutes approved by the Ministry of Industry and Trade  
The PXE Statutes were approved by the General Meeting of PXE and then by the Ministry of Industry and Trade and became effective 1 July 2009 as at the day of transformation to a joint-stock company. On 15 July 2009, the Statutes were amended in that part relating to the business name to POWER EXCHANGE CENTRAL EUROPE, a.s. The Statutes expand upon the general provisions of the Act on Commodity Exchanges and define the specific rights of individual PXE bodies and trading participants. 3. PXE Articles of Association approved by the General Meeting  
The PXE Articles of Association were drawn up in the form of a notary record and were approved by the PXE’s General Meeting on 31 March 2009. They became effective 1 July 2009 as at the day of transformation to a joint-stock company. On 2 July 2009, the Articles of Association were amended, with effect from 15 July 2009, in that part relating to the business name to POWER EXCHANGE CENTRAL EUROPE, a.s. which is the new name of the Company.
In accordance with the Commercial Code, the Articles of Association expand upon the general provisions of the law and define the specific rights of individual PXE bodies and other matters. Certain parts of the Articles of Association overlap with the content of the Statutes.

Trading Rules
The Trading Rules regulate the fundamental principles and conditions regarding trading at Power Exchange Central Europe, a.s. (formerly Prague Energy Exchange), as well as other particulars associated with trading.

These Participation Rules regulate the terms and conditions for establishing authorization of persons to trade on the Exchange, the rights and duties of such persons, and the other particulars relating to the existence of the authorization of persons to conclude trades in the system of Power Exchange Central Europe, a.s

Exchange Regulations: Standardisation of Commodity Contracts
This rule regulates three fundamental types of products traded on the PXE, those being base-load futures, peak-load futures, and spot products. The futures will be listed for day, month, quarter and year delivery periods. The spot products are listed for a 1-hour delivery period for hours of the nearest delivery day. In particular, standardisation establishes for individual types of products the contract volume, method of cascading, trading hours, closing daily price for M2M settlement, final settlement price and description of the futures series.

Fee Rules
This regulation sets forth the fees for the PXE's services. The fees can be divided into: Trading Fees, Settlement Fees and Communication Connection Fees. The Fee Rules can also impose Penalty Fees payable for breach of obligations under the Exchange Regulations. The Fee Rules set out the Fee Payers, Means of Payment and Due Dates for the individual fees.

Fee Schedule
The Prague Energy Exchange’s fees schedule specifically establishes the amounts of exchange fees by individual types as stated in the Fee Rules. The fees schedule divides the fees according to those for being accepted for trading on the exchange and renewing an entry ticket; those for trading, settlement and registration of trades at the Electricity Market Operator; and those for communications connections.

Implementing Regulation – Communication Connection of PXE participants to AOS
This regulation governs communications between the participants and the exchange. In particular it describes the Data Communication, Central Communications System, the Communications Environment, participants'Communications System, individual Front-End Modules and the Production Environment. The regulation further provides for the installation of the participant’s Communication System, terms for its operation, individual connection options, servicing, trouble-shooting procedures and liabilities of the parties involved.

Participation Agreement – The Agreement on the Authorization to Trade on the Prague Energy Exchange
The conclusion of this Agreement is a prerequisite for authorization to trade on the Energy Exchange. Under this Agreement, the participants promise to comply with all exchange rules and regulations. The agreement sets forth the terms for the establishment of the authorization to conclude exchange trades. As soon as the authorization is granted, the participant is entitled to use the services provided by the Energy Exchange. The services are provided for a fee, and the participant shall pay the Energy Exchange such fees as are set forth in the Fee Rules, and according to the Fee Schedule.
